I'm sorry it's been so long since the last post... I was in New York right after the Convention, and things have been a little hectic here in DC since. Nonetheless, I'll get back to writing soon (I'll have a post or two tonight for your reading pleasure).

Before I get to the post, I just want to run an idea by all of you. Beginning in September, I'm thinking of recording a weekly politics "internet radio" program that will be available from Basie! I have been doing public radio for going on six years (though no political talk shows), so at least I have some background. I'm thinking that the show will run about a half an hour each week and be available every Sunday night to download as an MP3, and ideally begin the week after the Republican National Convention. I'd appreciate your feedback on this idea.
