It's all over: Nader not on Oregon ballot
The AP wire has the story:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a last-ditch bid to put Ralph Nader on Oregon's election ballot.Gina Holland, "Nader Supporters Lose Supreme Court Appeal", September 28, 2004.
Nader supporters had asked the court last week to block Oregon from printing ballots without Nader's name. The court declined, although Justice Stephen Breyer noted he supported the stay.
