The Economist's take on Kerry in the third debate
And where Mr Bush pleased his base, Mr Kerry sounded bipartisan (“I don't care whether an idea is a Republican idea or a Democrat idea”). He said he thought the president did “a terrific job” after September 11th (though he then went on to say that he had messed it up).
